Step by Step Beginners Guide

This guide shows you how to create your first analysis in nBlick.

An analysis is the foundation of your AI visibility tracking.
It tells nBlick:

  • Who you are
  • What market you are in
  • Who your competitors are
  • Which audience you target

Let’s set it up.

Step 1: Create a New Analysis

Go to the Analyses section.

Click Create new analysis.

You will see a setup form with several sections.

Each section helps nBlick understand your business.

Step 2: Fill in Analysis Information

Analysis Name

Choose a clear name.

Example:

  • Black Friday Performance - Nike
  • Q1 AI Visibility - Brand X

This helps you stay organized if you create multiple analyses.

Step 3: Add Brand Information

This tells nBlick who you are.

Field What to Enter
Brand Name Your company or brand name
Website Your main domain (example: https://yourbrand.com)

nBlick uses this to detect when your brand appears in AI answers.

💡 Make sure your website is correct. This is how visibility is measured.

Step 4: Define Your Market

This section explains your business environment.

Activity Sector

Select your main industry.

Example: - Ecommerce
- SaaS
- Fintech
- Healthcare

Categories (Max 5)

Choose up to 5 categories that describe your business.

These categories are important because:

  • They define your tracked prompts
  • They shape your content generation
  • They influence AI visibility measurement

Products (Optional)

You can list up to 10 products.

This helps nBlick track product-level visibility.

Step 5: Set Your Focus Area

This section defines what you want to analyze.

Topic

Choose the main topic of your analysis.

This could be:

  • A product category
  • A campaign
  • A market segment
  • A strategic keyword

Competitors (Optional)

Add up to 10 competitors.

This allows nBlick to:

  • Compare visibility
  • Track competitor mentions
  • Analyze citation overlap

💡 Adding competitors gives you deeper insights.

Step 6: Set Audience Context

This tells nBlick which market to simulate.

Country

Select the country where your customers are located.

AI answers may vary by country.

Language

Choose the language of analysis.

AI answers are language-dependent.
Always select the language your customers use.

Step 7: Create the Analysis

Once all fields are completed:

Click Create analysis.

nBlick will:

  • Generate prompt categories
  • Create tracking prompts
  • Start analyzing AI answers
  • Monitor citations
  • Measure brand visibility

Your dashboard will then populate with:

  • Prompts
  • AI answers
  • Citations
  • Visibility data

What Happens Next?

After creating your analysis, you can:

  1. Review your generated prompts
  2. Track your AI visibility
  3. Analyze competitor presence
  4. Generate optimized content
  5. Improve your AI search performance

Best Practices

  • Be specific when selecting categories
  • Add real competitors (not just big brands)

Start focused. You can always create additional analyses later.
